IT support Brisbane can rely on.
Your software, built.
One person for both.
Actual IT is a boutique technology partner for Brisbane businesses. We look after your day-to-day IT so you never think about it, and we design custom software that gives you an edge your competitors can't buy off the shelf.
Keep IT calm
Managed support under one flat fee.
Monitoring, patching, Microsoft 365, security and backups owned end-to-end. No ticket queue. No surprise invoices.
Managed IT →Build the missing tool
Software shaped to how you work.
Purpose-built apps and AI automation for the awkward gaps off-the-shelf software never quite closes.
Custom software →Proof
A live product. Not a pitch deck.
Set2Go started with emailed PowerPoints for employee and contractor onboarding. It put the pack on the phone with timestamped progress, then grew into QR check-in, a live on-site board, SWMS and offline-friendly gate flow.
Same pattern I use with clients: ship the painful core first, expand once it's trusted.
How it feels
What working together actually looks like.
Services
One partner. Three altitudes.
All three come from the same person who knows your business. Context compounds instead of starting over with every new provider.
Computers, email, internet, security and backups, owned end-to-end under one flat agreement. Your team gets a direct line to the person who fixes things properly.
Moving office, upgrading systems, connecting tools that don't talk. We map how your business actually operates first, then design the technology around it.
Custom applications and AI-assisted automation built for your exact workflow. This is where technology stops being a cost and starts being an advantage.
About
The owner answers by name.
David McClatchey, working in IT since 2015. Actual IT is a one-person Brisbane practice on purpose: when you call, you get the person who fixes it and builds it. More about how that works →
